The Chinese Association for Renewable Energy in Germany (abbr. CEED) was a registered association founded by Chinese fellows working in the energy sector in Germany. To date CEED has attracted 220 members from multinational enterprises, innovative companies, prominent universities and research institutes as well as legal, tax, consulting and investment services related to energy sector in Germany, the four biggest energy utilities, Siemens, SAP and Accenture, to name but a few. Along with the rapid development of energy transition and energy internet in Germany, CEED devotes itself to promoting exchange in power and renewable energy technologies between China and Germany.
The second biggest mission of CEED is to provide opportunities to foster young energy talents. Since 2013, CEED has been, in cooperation with various partners, arranging the yearly summer investigation camp, attracting the participation of 500 person-time from China Europa, the USA and Australia, the final reports of which has received wide recognition from Chinese counterparts.
With the edge-cutting expertise, practical experience, vigor and enthusiasm aggregated, CEED emerges as a globally influential think-tank in energy area. Starting from 2015, CEED establishes branches in China, the Netherlands, Britain, the U.S.A as well as big cities in Germany such as Berlin, Frankfurt, Köln und Hamburg.
